Côte de Brouilly AOP 2023 - Chardignon - Domaine Guillaume Duvernay

From the slopes of Mont Brouilly, this Côte de Brouilly from Domaine Guillaume Duvernay fully expresses the character of its schist-rich terroir. The 50-year-old vines, trained in goblet style and hand-harvested, produce a deep and structured wine, where black fruit meets a fine mineral expression. A wine with character, selected for the Epicerie-Beaujolaise catalogue, elegantly showcasing the power and finesse of the great Beaujolais Crus.

Tasting

  • Appearance: deep, dark and brilliant red.
  • Nose: expressive and generous, dominated by aromas of black fruit, particularly blackberry and blackcurrant, accompanied by a lovely mineral note.
  • Palate: full-bodied and powerful, with a round, smooth texture, soft tannins and a long finish. The minerality brings freshness and depth to the whole.

Food & wine pairing - Ideal with:
