Often nicknamed the "Lord of the Beaujolais", this Moulin-à-Vent from Domaine de la Côte de Berne offers a robust structure and great depth. It fully expresses the nobility of its terroir, promising excellent ageing potential and remarkable aromatic complexity. Carefully selected for the Epicerie-Beaujolaise catalogue, this cuvée, sourced directly from the producer, reflects authentic expertise, where a passion for the terroir is expressed in every bottle.
Tasting
- Appearance: dark ruby red with garnet highlights.
- Nose: powerful and complex, releasing aromas of black fruit (blackcurrant, blackberry), sweet spices, with subtle floral notes (iris, violet).
- Palate: full-bodied, noble and structured. The tannins are present yet elegant, offering rich substance and a long, lingering finish, characteristic of this exceptional Cru.
Food & wine pairing – Ideal with:
- red meats in sauce (beef bourguignon, daube), game birds or a fine cut of beef
